Too Good Show: Chekesha & Tiffany Live Pilot Episode
Welcome To The Show Three days ago, we had the honor of producing our first pilot TV program/web series with Macmillan Children's Publishing Group. The show is a fun, entertaining show that will focus on new techniques in original content & publishing, the ins and outs of creative production, and the coolest mobile engagement tools being used by today’s industry leaders as well as their peers.
This is the Boomerang generation of publishers. The group that has published more content than any other generation before them. Nearly everyone is involved in producing content via web 2.0. With the emergence of YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, Instagram, and countless social media sites, the need for a show that gives you insights into the booming industry of original content production is ripe for this Generation.
Back To The Smart Board Meet Chekesha & Tiffany, the new faces of a refreshing new web series created to give fans and followers of online programming a weekly look into the original content production world. In the lines of popular talk shows targeting adults, the show’s format will keep viewers engaged with personal interviews, creative news stories, LIVE youth targeted events, and artistic expression coming from young millennials.
A Star Millennial Is Born This segment will comprise a profile of a “star” young millennial who has an interesting story to tell. It could be a recovery from a dramatic failure, a demonstration of artistic and creative expression, or overcoming challenges in their personal life. The objective will be to elevate and celebrate the “art” of personal fulfillment and self-confidence.
What Do Experts Think? Each week Chekesha & Tiffany Live will invite an expert in a particular field (literary agent, studio animation, publishing, book app developing, music production, merchandise and product marketing, entertainment, etc.) online via video social networking, who will give their opinion on “What’s Hot?” in games and book app development, the ins and outs of creative content production, and the future of original programming and ideas as it relates to digital media.
The Classroom Bookshelf With CJ Bott In the spirit of teaching, each week, educational consultant CJ Bott will discuss the importance of using children’s and young adult’s literature to help address the issues of bullying behaviors in the classroom.
Each segment will highlight three sections: Book Review, Teaching Invitations, and Further Explorations. The show’s segment will identify books that can be used in K-8 classrooms in a variety of ways such as LIVE readings.
Be A Buddy, Not A Bully Each week Chekesha & Tiffany Live will invite a children book author, illustrator, celebrity, athlete, businessmen, political figure to have a one-on-one, sit down interview with them.
Sponsors' Corner This segment will be set aside for the sponsor of Too Good Show to air a promotional message.

Bullied Bus Driver Teaches Kindness One Year Later
The Big Story - Associated Press Remember Karen Klein? A video of the school bus monitor being brutally bullied by kids went viral last year.
Now retired, she used donations strangers offered her to start a foundation dedicated to ending bullying in America.
"Thank you Carolyn Thompson, Buffalo, NY Correspondent and David Duprey, Photographer at The Associated Press for writing such a sincere national story about me, my anti-bullying foundation, and what we've been doing for the past year. You're welcome to interview me anytime in the future."

Macmillan Children's Publishing Group Encourages Kids, Teens, & Adults To 'Be A Buddy, Not A Bully
Yesterday, the Karen Klein Anti-Bullying foundation officially joined forces with Macmillan's Children's Publishing Group to introduce a national anti-bullying awareness educational program called 'Be A Buddy, Not A Bully' to help provide bullying prevention education in schools, at home, and throughout our communities.
As part of the launch, we had the honor of working with Keia Clarke, Manager of Promotions & Fan Development for the NY Liberty to introduce our educational program book display during their annual anti-bullying rally 'School Day' event being held at the Prudential Center. The basketball game (NY Liberty vs. Indiana Fever) brought together 5,000+ students from Newark, NJ to take part in a half-time cyberbullying discussion with Miss New York 2011 Kaitlin Monte.
The event also featured a "free" educational content giveaway with former Ford Escape Routes reality TV stars/models & college division 1 basketball players Chekesha Johnson & Tiffany Jackson, 15 year old Universal recording artist & Teen Spokesperson for the Foundation Breje; MCPG award-winning authors Matt Davies & Nick Bruel; seasoned songwriter & children storybook-music artist Ron Surrey; and our own bullied bus monitor Karen Klein.
With the support of our network of authors, illustrators, music artists, celebrities, athletes, city officials, community leaders, and corporate sponsors, we were able to film the last chapter of the 'Bullying Behavior In America' documentary project.
Thank you Karen, Amanda, Elizabeth, Ellen, Audrey, Robby, Mariel, Kelly, Molly, Jaime, Liz S., Marie, Kelsey, Nick, Matt, Ron, Tiffany, Chekesha, Breje, Seema, Donovan, Alexandria, Matti, Patrick, Fabio, Cameron, Mallie, Charles, Keia, Hasim, and the entire WNBA NY Liberty 'School Day' event team for helping us make a difference in the world...One child at a time! :-)
Meet Illustrator Nick Bruel, author and illustrator of, among other books, BAD KITTY, POOR PUPPY, BAD KITTY GETS A BATH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BAD KITTY, BAD KITTY VS. UNCLE MURRAY, and now BAD KITTY SCHOOL DAZE.
The reason we chose Bad Kitty School Daze to be the perfect tie-in to an anti-bullying message for kids is because Bad Kitty and Puppy had to go to obedience school for fighting.
Thank you Nick for sharing your story and allowing us to take your latest book from the shelves to the classrooms.
Meet Cartoonist Matt Davies, Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist for Tribune Media Services and The Hearst Newspaper Group in Connecticut.
Ben Rides On is the first ever children's picture book from our award-winning cartoonist and bullying prevention advocate Matt Davies.
Thank you Matt for helping us to inspire young readers and listeners a like to rally behind a worthy book.
